Latest positions held (till my retirement on 1 October 2016) in the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication Professor of English and CAT. Member of the Opleidingscommissie. Head of the Department’s Terminology Centre. (Now honorary head, still actively involved) Co-ordinator of English in the second Bachelor year. Previous posts held 1981-2013: lecturer, then full professor of English and CAT at University College Ghent (2013: our Faculty became a Department within Ghent University) 1973-1981: (N)FWO researcher, then
assistant lecturer in the Department of English Linguistics of Ghent
