I am a professor at the Foundations Lab for imprecise probabilities (FLip) of Ghent University. This website provides information about what I do there. The short version is that I conduct research on the foundations and applications of imprecise probabilities, teach a course on nonlinear systems and supervise five PhD students. I am also the current president of SIPTA, an international society for imprecise probabilities.

“If we knew what it was we were doing,
it would not be called research, would it?”
