Assistant in the domain Psychology and Climate Department of Experimental Psychology at Ghent University (Job ID: 28777)

THE POSITION You will assist with the department's practice-oriented education, in particular the development and supervision of master's theses in the field of psychology, climate change, and policy, as well as with a course for Matster students on Psychology, Environment, and Climate Change. This includes the practical and substantive organization and supervision and evaluation of students.
YOUR PROFILE · You hold a Master's degree in Psychology or an equivalent degree. The degree requirement must be met on the date of appointment. For degrees obtained outside the European Union, an equivalence certificate from NARIC must be submitted. · You engage in other professional activities and/or have demonstrable experience that can contribute to the quality of practice-oriented education. · You have experience working on behavioral change in the context of the climate crisis and/or related policy. · You have good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. · You are interested in scientific and/or project-based research and service provision. · Ghent University has an equal opportunities and diversity policy and therefore encourages everyone to apply.
OUR OFFER · We offer you an appointment until September 30, 2027. The appointment cannot be renewed. Please note: you cannot be appointed as a practical assistant at Ghent University for a cumulative percentage of more than 30%. · The earliest start date is October 1, 2025. · Remuneration is based on scale AAP3.
