Eurobarometer is a series of public opinion surveys conducted regularly by the European Commission. There were a lot of topics to choose from, and we decided to focus on what the European citizens think about the European Union, their own country and their satisfaction with life in general. Our visualisations allow inspecting the evolution over the years and linking geopolitical events to possible trends within the data.

We decided to represent these topics with a map of Europe. You can click or shift-click to change the selected countries that are shown in the stacked barchart and linechart below. It is also possible to click on bars of the barchart to see a comparison of the selected answer. Tooltips are available everywhere to inspect the data more closely.
