Welcome to my site
Lego® is one of my favourite toys. As I was a little boy, I bought the series and played with it.
My preferred sets were the old pirate series, the town series and the old Technic boxes.
As I became older, I made models of buildings, boats and even Santa. Because of other interests, Lego bit by bit disappeared.

In October 2001 I went to university in Ghent, my home town.
In the lessons Geometry we saw a little chapter about CSG in Pov-Ray and I started searching some information about this topic on the internet,
I found beautiful rendered images very quickly. One of them had a little Lego-brick in the scene.
I changed my search in ’Pov-Ray + Lego’ and a whole world opened in front of my eyes.
I became in love with my toys again, I started playing with the bricks on my computer.
For ray-tracing the images, I started using Pov-Ray. It’s a great and free program you can download from the internet.
When you use the appropriate library you can build cars, bridges and so on in Lego®. The library of Anton Raves is just the best you can find.
Some of the first digital constructions I built were the 6594 OCTAN truck, a bridge and a building with shop.
Unfortunately these creations have been lost due to a computer crash.
I forgot making back-ups, a mistake I won’t make again :-).
The creations made after the crash can be seen on this site.
I have a page where you can see most of my constructions, a page with explanations how to make your own Lego-creations in Pov-Ray,
a page with animations and lots more.
Recently I started buying new bricks, before that time I only had the basic colours of bricks: red, yellow, blue, grey and white.
With these bricks I’m making new creations. No cities or theme parks, as I did when I was a little boy, but bridges and large models.
You can admire them in the Gallery.
Have a lot of fun on my page.
